Assessing excellence through the lens of faith-based mission
Educational Assessment Guidelines Leading toward Excellence (EAGLE) has gained recognition in recent years as the only faith-based accrediting body in the country. EAGLE’s ten principles place emphasis on quality service and operational excellence while also assessing how an organization lives out its faith values in the care provided to clients, in relationships with staff, in partnership with their Board and in support of their local communities. If your organization has considered pursuing EAGLE Accreditation or you want to learn more about the process, plan to attend our Introduction to EAGLE virtual session on February 3, 2022. More information on EAGLE accreditation is also available on our website at http://eagle1.org/ or email eagle@ouruma.org.
“Asbury’s EAGLE accreditation reinforces our pursuit of excellence on behalf of those we serve by helping ensure that we meet rigorous standards of quality and care while also fulfilling our not-for-profit, faith-based mission,” said Doug Leidig, President/CEO, Asbury Communities. “EAGLE’s standards and accreditation principles further support Asbury’s reputation not just as a provider of quality care for older adults, but also as an organization with a strong financial foundation and a culture of organizational excellence that delivers on our guiding principle of doing all the good we can with integrity, transparency, and grace.”
