About Bethany Methodist

Located in Glenview, IL, northwest of Chicago, Bethany Methodist Corporation (www.bethanymethodist.org) is a 134-year-old faith-based, non-profit organization that includes a 160-apartment independent senior living community (Chestnut Square at The Glen) and a licensed non-medical caregiving agency (Partners in Healthcare) that promote holistic well being for our residents and clients. We have 110 employees and an operating budget of $7 million.

Designed in an elegant prairie style, our community is a truly beautiful place for seniors to call home. We provide spacious 1- and 2-bedroom apartments and all-inclusive services and amenities. Our caregiver agency and our wellness center are located on-site. We offer a wide array of physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual programs on our campus. Residents can step out our front door to stroll through The Glen Town Center, dine out, enjoy the 140-acre park of gardens, or socialize at the Glenview Senior Center just across the street.

Our vision is to be the premier preferred senior community living option on the North Shore of Chicago. Our leadership team includes an engaged Board of Directors and a management team whose work is rooted in the values of trust, teamwork, and transparency—and a deep commitment to honor our legacy, demonstrate compassion, and build for the future.  For more, please click here for a short video.
