Important Announcement from UMA

Out of an abundance of caution and care for the safety of our members and business partners, UMA has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2021 Annual Meeting in Boulder next April. While our in-person meeting will not take place as planned, UMA looks forward to hosting a virtual Annual Business Meeting of the members on Wednesday, April 28, as well as an EAGLE celebration on a date to be determined.

Our 2021 shared learning theme is “Resilience365.” What better way to recognize that your relationships with your UMA peers and partners have helped you and your organization build resilience, not only during this challenging time but throughout the year.

Our decision to not meet in person this April, while difficult, allows us the flexibility to explore new possibilities. It will allow us to take the annual meeting education program and share outstanding education on critical, strategic, timely topics. With our robust and growing peer networks and engaging virtual education events, UMA will continue to keep our members and business partners connected and informed.

We remain hopeful that UMA will be able to host in-person events later in 2021. We look forward to sharing more exciting information on our plans as we move forward. Together, we will strengthen our resilience. Together, we will remain committed to our mission to inspire, promote, recognize, and empower excellence in human service ministries.
