"It really is our call to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world and to be love in the world. EAGLE is unique in that it really calls us to focus on why we do the work."
- Allison Ashe, President/CEO, Wellroot Family Services
|

Grounded in its faith-based mission and EAGLE's Principles around holistic care and exceptional outcomes, Wellroot Family Services launched Healthy Families Gainesville expanding wrap-around services traditionally offered to foster families to also include at-risk biological families. By serving birth families in the same way as foster families, many children could stay with their parents - creating stability and opportunity. Wellroot's bold three-year strategic plan uses evidence-based programming to help children and families build resiliency.

They join our peer reviewer pool that includes individuals representing 25 different UMA members and EAGLE accredited organizations.
Serving as an EAGLE Peer Reviewer offers professionals a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the EAGLE process and principles. At the same time, reviewers have a chance to take back innovative solutions and best practices they learn from other organizations. The three part EAGLE Education Series for Peer Reviewer resumes in 2022. Click here for details.

Special Need for Bilingual Peer Reviewers and Translators in 2022

The EAGLE staff is working with four children/youth organizations in Puerto Rico pursuing EAGLE accreditation for the first time. To provide the best EAGLE experience for the organizations, EAGLE is seeking bilingual individuals to serve as reviewers as well as translators to assist review teams on site visits. If you are bilingual in Spanish and would like to assist with these visits in 2022, please email Emily Robbearts (erobbearts@ouruma.org) for more information on this opportunity.

Look for Stronger Supply Savings with Online Pro Access

The Home Depot or Lowe's store just down the street from you might be convenient for supplies now and then, but even at these big-box stores, it is unlikely that your organization is getting the best price.
UMA members now have access to Care Purchasing Service's (CPS) contracted pricing through many different vendors including Home Depot Pro and Lowe's ProServices. Rather than spending extra time and money to drive to the store for maintenance supplies or cleaning chemicals, why not set up online purchasing access with Home Depot Pro or Lowe's ProServices, and take advantage of our contracted CPS pricing? To learn more about cost-savings opportunities like this, please contact our CPS Client Account Manager for UMA members, Chad Coffey, at
coffeychad@carepurchasing.com.
